This Beautiful August Wedding took place at a private Northern California Residence. Not only was this a fun creative experience for me as a designer, but it was also my own cousin’s wedding, which made it that much better! I love that LeeAna chose an ombre design for her bouquet. I also have an affinity for deep jewel tones, and jewel tones mixed with blush is the perfect combination! ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE!

The flowers used in this design were burgundy Stock, Dahlias, Ranunculus, Quicksand Roses and Pink Hanging Amorathus. I love the look of the Traviata Romantica Rose and there are also White Alexandria garden roses, and Juliet David Austin Roses. The Greenery is Cedar boughs, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, Leather Leaf Fern, Snow Berries and Pepper Berry. We Then of course tied long flowing ribbons to the bouquets to add to the whimsical feel. The girls flower crowns were made with Seeded Eucalyptus.

Katie And Jake’s Summer Garden Wedding

This beautiful blush peach and burgundy wedding took place at Gover Ranch in Anderson, CA. I absolutely loved the peach next to the burgundies. My favorite piece is of course the arch. I never get enough images of those magnificent statements. Oh well! I was so thrilled when I knew Licia from Carats and Confetti Events was taking care of the day of details. She did a fabulous job keeping everything organized for our beautiful bride! And Kara Stewart Photography is amazing at capturing just how romantic everything is.

Talk about the funnest wedding I have ever designed! I am a huge color girl and was star struck the whole process because everything was so incredibly vibrant! I love themed weddings because I am faced with an incredible problem to solve which is... it could be disastrously corny. I don't do corny. I must manipulate the colors and textures to transform a theme into a beautiful and complete story.

The bright bold colors came together flawlessly. Two of my favorite flowers that I believe  made this look was the beautiful, small, round and yellow flowers called Craspedia and the whimsical, purple (almost blue) Veronica. 

Though we had to celebrate before the actual holiday, every detail at this wedding was perfectly executed. The favors were actual molded sugar skulls. There was a cigar bar. We set up a memorial table with photos of loved ones gone ahead. There was no detail untouched!
